Vortex — 40% Cheaper

Vortex is the desktop application I wrote last year to get things done. If you like all-singing, all-dancing apps then it’s not for you. But if you like a simple interface, pared down to the bare essentials, you might well like it.

I receive a steady stream of enquiries about Vortex, mostly from North America. I’ve noticed, though, that most of the wonderful people who buy it are in Europe. And I think the main reason for this is the steady rise of the pound.

I price Vortex in sterling which means it has been getting steadily more expensive for North Americans ever since I released it. Once its U.S. price passed $50 I knew it was too dear.

So today I’m taking 40% off the price. Vortex now costs £15 — or approximately $30. Enjoy!
