Keep On Top Of Vortex Upgrades
I've been aware for a while that there's no easy way for people using Vortex to find out when upgrades become available.
I get excited every time I release a new version because I know each new feature, enhancement and bug fix will make people's lives just that little bit easier. But then I fret that most customers won't find out and I worry that they aren't quite as relaxed as they now could be.
So I'm delighted to announce that you can now keep on top of fresh Vortex releases by subscribing to the release notes' feed*. Every time I release a new version of Vortex, the feed will update and, if you've subscribed, you'll find out about it automatically.
Next I plan to have Vortex itself check for updates. You'll know when that's ready via the feed.
Writing the code to publish these feeds was great fun — but I'll save that for another post.
As with everything AirBlade does, I hope this small step makes your life a little easier.
* That's an Atom feed. You can also get RSS if you prefer.
